Ingredients: Spirulina, Chia, Blueberry, Rosehip, Nettle.
Nettle (Urtica)
A medicinal plant packed with 70 health-giving nutrients, among others.
magnesium, manganese and calcium which are powerful base-making (dissolves uric acid urine
connective tissue) which gives positive effects in eczema, chronic rashes, cramps,
rheumatic disorders etc. Hemostasis, with strong antioxidants, rich in C-
vitamins, chlorophyll and iron. Chlorophyll is short and good as the blood of plants and is said to be fantastically vitalizing, eg for the brain. Vitamin C is good, for example. for the public health and the immune system. The nettle is the king of nature in terms of vitamin richness, minerals, trace elements and plant sterols, which gather the immune system and regulate blood sugar. Nettle also contains thylakoids, which make fat burning more even, reduce blood fats and
satisfies the feeling of saturation.
Spirulina
Spirulina is a fantastic cocktail of various nutrients in highly concentrated
form. Like a natural penicillin of the ocean, the algae contains various antibiotics,
antibacterial substances that strengthen the body’s immune system. Spirulina has
in addition, a cholesterol-lowering effect that prevents cardiovascular disease
and an antioxidant effect that slows down aging. Spirulina also contains
manganese, which is good for the antioxidant defense and chromium, which makes the insulin
more efficient and reduces the need for suction. It is rich in iron and all vitamins
(except C + D and virtually all amino acids.
Blueberries (Vaccinium myrtillus)
Is a fantastic berry that contains large amounts of flavonoids and antocyanin-type antioxidants (which give the blueberry its blue color) and is said to be able to prevent cardiovascular disease, protect the brain from unnecessary aging and prevent disease by protecting the cells in your body.
The antioxidants also have anti-inflammatory properties that work
protective, especially for the retina of the eye and small vessels.
Blueberries contain plenty of vitamins and minerals, among other things. Vitamin C, E-B6, beta-carotene, calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and iron.
In other words, a really great berry!
Rosehip (Rosa Rugosa)
Rosehip has been shown to be effective against joint pain in several studies, for example
osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Rosehip contains several important antioxidants such as flavonoids, carotenoids and anthocyanides that have been shown to be effective against cancer as well as cardiovascular disease and not least C vitamins.
The researchers believe the rosehip powder works locally by reducing the white blood cell’s path to inflammation. As the blood cells move more slowly the pain and swelling decrease and the mobility of the joints increases. Other health benefits of rosehip are that rosehip is considered as effective against urinary tract infections as cranberry juice. Due to its high content of phytochemicals, rosehip strengthens the immune system and helps keep our cells young.
Rosehip also contains a lot of folic acid, which is especially good for women who are planning to become pregnant.
CHIA – the forgotten source of a healthy life! Chia (Salvia hispanica, L.) was used as a staple food in central Mexico between
1,500 BC – 900 BC It was known that this little seed had unique properties as a source of nutrition. This millennial diet was then forgotten to be rediscovered in modern times as an excellent source of antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids, minerals, vitamin B, proteins, dietary fiber, water-binding colloids and more.
Rediscovering Chia as a food means great new opportunities!
Chian’s most unique feature is its ability to bind water. Chia can absorb up to 12 times its own weight, which helps it to improve fluid balance. Water-binding colloids are the foundation of all
living cells. They have the ability to transport any substance that is
necessary for the cell and a lack of these colloids leads to cell death.
Chia is one of the few plants where the relationship between Omega-3 and Omega-6 is favorable. The researchers agree that Omega-3 can prevent a variety of diseases, but that meeting the need for Omega-3 is not straightforward.
The balance between other fatty acids is important and using individual supplements can upset it.
The parent substance of the Omega-3 family is alfalinolenoic acid (which the body cannot manufacture) a polyunsaturated fatty acid from the plant kingdom (the highest measured so far). Fatty acids are part of the defense of the body, which counteracts clot formation and keeps blood flowing. These oils are essential oils needed for the body to absorb the fat-soluble vitamins A,
D, E and K. If you have a lack of Omega-3, the blood flows more slowly and you risk getting a blood clot instead. It has also been seen that fatty acids counteract inflammation,
which atherosclerosis usually starts with.
Carbohydrates are the body’s fuel and a more stable metabolism means that
the sugar level in the blood becomes more even and extends over a longer period of time.
Chia balances blood sugar, so we don’t get hungry as fast. A slower digestion means that we utilize the nutrients in a much better way and that the fluid balance is maintained.
Chia is therefore a very good product if you want to lose weight.
As a protein source, Chia is readily absorbed, which leads to the nutrients quickly reaching the body’s cells. This is particularly effective in the rapid growth of ex. children and adolescents, cell formation in pregnant and lactating women, as well as in the building of muscle cells in athletes and exercisers.
